Data. It's important to have methods and records of storing our class data. It determines pacing, approach, and takes time. This session will discuss ways of collecting that data. It can be fun! Formative assessment is crucial for the teacher to determine student understanding, but may not be accurate if it's done through various methods. The goal is to get authentic data from students who put in effort. This session will show how a few tools can be utilized to increase student engagement, and save teacher time.
