Are you in a rural school district where you are the only licensed LMS for the district? This session is for you! The life of the one and only LMS in a district can be a lonely one. We LMS often wear multiple hats and are responsible for multiple schools across all grade levels. Who do you bounce ideas off of? Where do you get ideas from? How do you manage your time and meet the needs of the entire district? What projects are other Library Media Specialists doing that you want to know more about? In this session, participants will be asked to engage in a roundtable style discussion about thriving as the soul LMS for a district. By linking our thinking, attendees can come away with tips, ideas, and connections to support their role in the rural school district.
